Kinda like a 6 pack, but they are MUCH bigger!

Tappix and Zane Nix (Retired Racing Greyhounds)

I hope that my experiences will enlighten you and provide incentive to discover more on your own about greyhounds as a breed and what wonderful, loving companions they make.

Beginnings:

Tappix (aka: Tappix, raced at Dairyland, Geneva Lakes, and The Woodlands) Tappix, my heart dog, was adopted in February of 1999. He is amazing to say the least, and has lead me to get involved with greyhound adoption, raising public awareness about greyhounds and letting people know what wonderful loving pets they are.

Terrible Two's:

Raven: (aka: Lady Abigail's Raven Thunder, racing in our back yard daily!)
Raven is our second dog, she came to us in December of 1999 and has been a challenge, but a one that was WELL worth the work. Raven is smart, strong and beautiful, all typical of the rottweiler breed. She is also unknowingly a greyhound wannabe who tries really hard to keep up with her brothers Tappix and Zane. We've had our moments (and lost a few pieces of furniture along the way) but her companinship and wonderful loving personality far outweigh the loss (hey it was old furniture anyway!).

Full Circle:

Zane (aka: Stat US Zane, raced at Camptown and The Woodlands)
Zane was adopted directly from his owners John & Kris Taylor in August of 2001, I met him in June of 1999 and could not forget this spectacular soul. His story is an interesting one that will unfold on this site. I can't even begin to explian the many strange connections I have with this dog. He walked out of his crate, into my arms and my heart never to leave again, the bond we share is something I never dreamed I would experience and I wouldn't have missed out on him for anything in the world!
